Valentine’s Nail Art Trends: Heart Patterns and Red-Pink Designs |

Heart patterns, ombre shades of red and pink and glittery display of love by incorporating Cupid’s arrow or initials of your partner on your nails using rhinestones, women prefer all things love on Valentine’s. Weeks before the day of love, women get hearts painted on their nails and choose colours like red and pink to express their love for their partners.
Hearts are everywhere, including your nails
Beauty expert Bharti Taneja shares that the most popular nail art theme for Valentine’s Day is the heart pattern. “In terms of colours, people prefer red and pink. We either make these designs on the nails or use stickers. Sometimes people also get rhinestones added. For Valentine’s Week the theme that rules is hearts,” she tells us.
Reena Batra, founder of a nail salon, also says that hearts in red or pink are popular. “Popular Valentine’s Day nail designs include heart patterns and ombre shades of red and pink. We also experiment with Cupid’s arrows or partner’s initials,” she adds.

A touch of love
Apart from hearts, some also experiment by adding rhinestones only to their ring finger. “Some women also get nail art with ‘Love’ written on their nails. Even those who get a regular manicure, choose colours like red or a French manicure with a touch of red,” says nail technician Harshita Sharma
